The summit with North Korea in Singapore is back on for June 12th. One of Kim Jong Un’s top people Kim Yong Chol visited the White House today. The meeting went well.

This is all good news. For a period of time it looked as if the summit wasn’t going to happen but now it seems to be back on track.
It sounds like that we could see an official end to the Korean War when the summit takes place. After 70 years, such a move is long overdue. The world has definitely changed a great deal since the 1950s. It will be interesting to see how this develops but it’s all very encouraging.
