Oakland’s Jew Mayor Libby Schaaf warned the illegal bean monkeys that ICE was preparing to launch a raid in the area. That raid came today as ICE did a sweep in Northern California arresting over 100 for immigration violations.

San Francisco Chronicle:

Federal officials confirmed Tuesday that they launched a big immigration enforcement action this week in Northern California, after remaining silent for three days.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement made more than 100 arrests in the operation, reported Fox News, which was given a ride-along as ICE officers knocked on doors and detained people.

The Chronicle reported in January that federal officials were planning such an operation to send a message that immigration law would be enforced in the sanctuary state.

Then, on Saturday night, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf released an unprecedented warning that the agency was about to begin arresting people.

Schaaf said she issued the alert after receiving confidential tips from “credible sources,” and conferring with attorneys to make sure she wasn’t opening herself up to federal prosecution.

The Department of Justice should definitely look into arresting Schaaf for trying to warn illegal aliens about this raid. I can’t imagine that what she did was legal by any stretch of the imagination.

But overall, it’s good that immigration violations are actually being enforced. It sends a message to illegals that they might want to consider heading home. Much more needs to be done in this area though especially when so many people at various levels of the California government are trying to thwart immigration enforcement.
