The “Yellow Vest” protests have continued in France. This is the sixth consecutive weekend we are seeing these protests.
The mainstream media is claiming that the movement is subsiding but that seems far fetched. They’re probably making this up as part of a strategy to demoralize the protesters as the available video footage shows a sizable force of angry protesters.

Of course this is also the weekend before Christmas so that could be another factor in turnout. But based on the footage, it looks like this movement is still a significant thing. If they continue, it is going to be impossible for French President Emmanuel Macron to govern. His approval rating is already below 20 percent and his concessions to the movement have not been embraced.
Hopefully at minimum this movement is able to force Macron out. Of course nobody knows what will ultimately happen.
