There was a big deal made of this news for a little while, but ultimately I don’t think it will have that much long term significance from a policy perspective. Pruitt by all accounts did an excellent job at the EPA and was responsible for cutting all sorts of ridiculous Obama-era regulations. Whoever becomes the next permanent EPA head will undoubtedly have a similar mindset. It doesn’t matter if it’s this Andrew Wheeler guy or someone else. The MAGA agenda at the EPA will continue. Pruitt just got bogged down by a bunch of weird scandals some of which seemed to have been exaggerated by the Jew-run media.
He was also harassed by that weird Marxist cunt agitator at a restaurant the other day.
There were also a bunch of career people within the EPA itself who hated him. These people probably conspired with the Jew-run media to paint him as a corrupt person.
All of this craziness seemed to be too much so he had to resign. Here’s his resignation letter.
But yeah, overall this isn’t a huge deal. Quite honestly, the EPA should just be abolished. If we followed the Constitution, environmental protection would be something handled at the state level.
