Seemingly out of nowhere, there are widespread anti-government protests throughout Iran.

BBC:

Anti-government demonstrations that began in Iran on Thursday have now spread to several major cities.

Large numbers reportedly turned out in Rasht, in the north, and Kermanshah, in the west, with smaller protests in Isfahan, Hamadan and elsewhere.

The protests began against rising prices but have spiralled into a general outcry against clerical rule and government policies.

A small number of people have been arrested in Tehran, the capital.

They were among a group of 50 people who gathered in a city square, Tehran’s deputy governor-general for security affairs told the Iranian Labour News Agency.

The US State Department condemned the arrests and urged “all nations to publicly support the Iranian people and their demands for basic rights and an end to corruption”.

This looks like something that the Mossad or the CIA has cooked up. Now that ISIS is a non-factor in the region, the Zionists are trying to stir up a revolution in the Iranian streets. What’s telling is that many of the protesters are lashing out against Iran’s military support of Syria even though it is overwhelmingly supported by Iranians.

The Iranian government should swiftly crackdown on these protests. The chances are quite high that they are being financed by foreign money.

Quite honestly though, this obsession with Iran is getting old. The United States has been interfering in Iranian internal politics since the 1950s. Israel is the only beneficiary of this interference.

Iran is a regional power directly opposed to Israel. That’s the only reason why they are painted as a member of the “Axis of Evil” and all this other nonsense.
